Being a foreigner medical student who has to struggle studying in a language as hard as Japanese, I had a hard time trying to find the suitable Japanese textbook. My teacher recommended me this book because its Japanese is much simpler and easy to understand. Even though it only emphasizes on the most basic of physiology but it really helped me a lot. 日本語が苦手な外国人の私はこの本で一発生理学の試験を通れました。本当にお勧めします。
